This authentic Crotalocephalus gibbus trilobite fossil dates back to the Devonian period and was discovered in Morocco. This species is part of the Phacopid trilobites, known for their distinctive and elegant exoskeleton structure.

The specimen is beautifully and professionally preserved also referred to as a "Flying" pose, showing details of the cephalon, thorax, and pygidium in a natural posture. Only some restoration along the crack in the matrix when this specimen was excavated.
