The crankcase marked with part number 31-0024L (or 310024L) is an S&S Cycle engine component designed for Harley-Davidson Evolution Big Twin engines. It is a big-bore, special application crankcase designed for high-performance builds.

Manufacturer: S&S Cycle.

Engine Compatibility: Fits 1984-1999 Harley-Davidson models with the Evolution (EVO) Big Twin engine, including various Electra Glide, Softail, and Dyna models.

Material: Cast from A356 T-6 heat-treated aluminum alloy.

Bore Size: It is designed for big-bore applications and has a bore size of 4 1/4 inches. It can also be found in a 4 1/8" bore option.

Application: It is part of the S&S Big Bore Super Sidewinder engine line and is a "Special Application" (SA) case, built to handle large cylinder bores and strokes up to 5".
