Born in 1996, Suganuma grew up with parents who were folklore musicians, and became familiar with Latin music from an early age. He studied in Seville, Spain, the home of the guitar, and won the first prize at the 8th Seville International Guitar Competition at the young age of 21. Subsequently. He also traveled to Bolivia and experienced rich musical activities in South America. This program includes works by South American composers such as Dominguez (Bolivia), Hinastera (Argentina), Lauro (Venezuela), and Ponce (Mexico), as well as the classical guitar masterpiece "Walton: Five Bagatelles" and other pieces that make full use of his background.
