3..   Disconnect plugs. The harnesses have an arm that will swing upward when the back 'button' is pushed in softly.

Today we would like to share with you this short video 🎥 of our instrument cluster repair of a 2003 BMW 3-Series speedometer we did for Gilbert from Carson, CA. He explained that the convertible top was left down in direct summer sunlight and the display disintegrated. It almost looks like acid leaked onto the LCD from the inside but the only damage found within was related to the glass. . This issue is quite uncommon, this is our first repair of this type, but these instrument panels are found in 1999-2006 BMW E46 3-Series and M3 cars. . The car's mileage and programming are stored internally within the device so it cannot be easily replaced with a used cluster. This is a super expensive part brand new, fixing it is the best option!
