This is the first international album by Gambari Band, a group from Mali formed in 2012 by former members of "Ngoni Ba" led by Bassek Kouyaté, a leading expert on the Ngoni, a traditional stringed instrument of West Africa. The band features two female vocalists and the ngoni ensemble proposed by Bhasek. The album features polyrhythmic Afro sounds that will shake your whole body.
