original vintage 1935-1936 Ford car speedometer, likely made by Waltham.   bought this for parts for harley knucklehead speedo  looks the same   didnt have heart to tear it apart!

Key features:

It is a mechanical gauge with a maximum speed reading of 100 mph. 

The face is a tan/gold color with black numbering and a red needle. 

It includes a total odometer and a trip odometer (currently reading 173 miles). 

The gauge has a metal housing and mounting brackets, showing signs of age and patina. 

The item is a popular collectible for enthusiasts restoring classic Ford vehicles from that era   got this from a customer

The speedometer is early in the 1935 production year before the Ford script was added mid-year on the face in the bottom center. It is not Waltham because the Waltham name was on the face. It is Delco or Stewart-Warner. It is deluxe because it has a four digit trip odometer. Standard had a three digit trip odometer. The needle should rest on the pin at zero.
