Kabaneri the Iron Castle: Kaimon Kessen [Limited Edition] / Anime The latest work by director Tetsuro Araki and WIT STUDIO, "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle". The journey leads to a new destiny. These monsters, later to be known as kabanes, had hearts covered with a coating of steel, and even turned those who bit them into kabanes. The Kabanes multiplied explosively, covering the entire world. In the Far East island nation of Japan, Ikoma and his team boarded a thickly armored steam locomotive, known as Koutetsu-jo (Kabane Castle), and after a fierce battle, they arrived at Kaimon, an abandoned mine station facing the Sea of Japan, where a new battle between Kabanes and humans was to take place. Ikoma and the others formed an "allied force" with the people of Genji, Torajiri, and Haimon, who also wanted to seize "Haimon" from the Kabanes, to formulate a plan to defeat the Kabanes. The box set is illustrated by Haruhiko Mikimoto, and the digipak is illustrated by Yasuyuki Ehara.
