Description:
Eighteen years after his highly acclaimed oboe concerto "Kalora" in 2000, Akira Nishimura wrote the oboe concerto "Four Gods" after ten years of conception for the world-renowned Indermühle and the Izumi Sinfonietta Osaka. A new masterpiece of oboe concerto is born, in which four instruments of the oboe genus, associated with the four spirit animals of ancient Chinese origin, Suzaku = chorangre, White Tiger = oboe da molé, Genbu = bass oboe, and Blue Dragon = oboe, are in full swing.
