Eric Clapton
Description:
Eric Clapton, one of the top rock guitarists, released his 7th album "Slowhand" in November 1977 and performed 40 shows in North America and Europe in 1978, starting with a concert in Vancouver, Canada on February 1 and ending with a concert in Camberley, England on June 5. The following year, in 1978, the band performed 40 shows in North America and Europe, starting with a concert in Vancouver, Canada on February 1, 1978, and ending with a concert in Camberley, England on June 5, 1978. Recorded for the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour," this is the first time that the original recordings have been remastered and released on CD. The band is backed by Carl Reidl (B), a former member of Derek & the Dominos, George Terry (G) and Jamie Oldaker (Ds), who have worked together since their return to the band with "461 Ocean Boulevard," and Marcy Levy, a talented female vocalist. Clapton's guitar playing is also brilliant. The first half of the concert features songs from his new album "Slowhand," while the second half features covers of blues numbers and hits such as "Badge," "Let It Rain," and "Layla," making this a must-have live album for fans, as the set list is the best Clapton had during this period.
