The theme is the caricatures of birds, beasts, and humans, a picture scroll from Kozanji Temple. Following "Blow, Rub, and Hit" (Yoko Suzuki Works vol. 4) in 2017 and "From Beyond the Desert" (Yoko Suzuki Works vol. 5 [VA-09003]) in 2018, composer Yoko Suzuki will release her new work "Choju-giga". This is a collection of seven pieces, recorded live at the concert premiere of the Yoko Suzuki Works Exhibition vol. 13 in October 2019. Performed by Ensemble Nomade. Yoko Suzuki (Composition) is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Musique in Paris and Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, where she majored in composition. She has organized 12 exhibitions of her compositions, mainly in Kyoto, and is actively presenting her compositions. He studied composition under Yoshihisa Taira and Yuzuru Kondo, and published a book of poems "Golden Cat" in 2010. All of the pieces from his previous exhibitions vol.4-6,8 and parts of vol.7 and vol.10 are available on YouTube.He has released five CDs "Sound and Stain", "The Little Mermaid", "What My Father Left Me", "Blow, Rub, and Strike" and "From Beyond the Desert", recorded from his works exhibition vol.8 to vol.12.
