The earrings have clip fittings, for unpierced ears, featuring a stylized comet design on the front that is claw-set, round diamond encircled by a ring of claw-set and bead-set round diamonds, and has three-rows of channel-set baguette-cut diamonds curving up to terminate in an end-set marquise diamond. These earrings are set with (2) round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat total weight of (VS-2/SI-1) in clarity (H-I-J) in color; (6) marquise cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.70 carat total weight of (VS-2/SI-1) in clarity (H-I) in color; (38) round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carat total weight of (VS2-SI2) in clarity and (E-G) in color; (33) straight baguette-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.30 carat total weight of (VVS2-I1) in clarity and (F-G-H) in color. Tested to be platinum with 14kt clips. The paid weighs 19.00 grams. Circa 1950's.
