Sophie Valrose was from the South of France. Legend has it that Sophie became an inspiration to the women who worked in the vineyards. Bijou is a tribute to her memory. Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose is produced with grapes from low-yielding, handpicked bush vines.

Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose is a beautifully pale, salmon-coloured rosé. Elegantly fragrant, with aromas of wild strawberries, citrus and delicate floral notes. Round and creamy on the palate, with a refreshing acidity and silky smooth finish.

The grapes are sourced from well tended, low yielding bush vines. Large rolled stones in the vineyards radiate heat and aid grape maturation while cool winds sweep off the nearby Mediterranean Sea.

The grapes are harvested early in the morning to preserve freshness. They are directly pressed, with Syrah undergoing light maceration. Long and cool vinification takes place to maximise flavour profile.
