The stent features a 4.9 French (Fr) diameter and is available in various lengths (typically 14–32 cm). It is constructed from a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer compounded with barium sulfate for radiopacity, enabling clear visualization under fluoroscopy or X-ray. The stent is hydrophilic coated, which is activated by fluid to create a smooth surface for easy, atraumatic insertion and passage through delicate ureteral tissue.
