This painting by artist John Dyer explores the grape harvest in Italy. Commissioned by the Eden Project for World Food Day. Blue and purple bunches of grapes hang from the vines. Our view is over the vines to the beautiful italian landscape and hills. A small hillside village sits at the top of the painting and groups of people gather the grapes in baskets. A stunning image of rural Italy.
John Dyer's Italian crop paintings were commissioned for a special exhibition that was held in a yurt at the Eden Project. The writers group 'Scavel and Gow' were also commissioned to write unique stories about each new painting.
