Vibration, either from inside or outside a building, can make ordinary fasteners loosen and back out. Fab-Lok fasteners combine a slotted aluminum sleeve and fastener to provide high resistance to vibration loosening. Excellent for use with insulated panels.

1/4-20 hex washer head machine screw assembled to a slotted aluminum sleeve and EPDM sealing washer. Penetrating length: 1.807". Grip range: 0.5" - 0.75". Slotted sleeve collapses during installation, drawing the application materials together and providing a large bearing area at the back of the joint. These clamping tines remain in place, even in the original screw is removed. They are ideal for non-structural joints in areas subject to high vibration, wind, expansion/contraction, etc. Install with Fab-Lok holding sleeve (HFZJ900). MADE IN U.S.A.
