'The WLC Leak Cable is designed to provide comprehensive coverage for leak detection across large areas, such as under-raised floors in data centers or around sensitive equipment. It can be laid out to cover the entire perimeter of a room or specific areas that are vulnerable to leaks. By positioning the cable along the edges of the floor, near water pipes, HVAC systems, or around server racks, the cable ensures that even small amounts of moisture are detected anywhere within the monitored zone.

This flexibility allows the WLC cable to create a continuous detection loop, covering the full floor perimeter, and making it ideal for large spaces. It offers protection by providing alerts as soon as water is detected, minimizing the risk of damage to critical infrastructure.

WLC cable requires VT591 Leak sensor.

Use cases

The VT591 Water Leak Sensor is used for:

• Water Leak Detection: Monitors for water leaks in critical environments such as data centers, server rooms, and building facilities. It detects water by sensing a drop in resistance along the connected WLC Water Leak Cable.
• Early Warning Systems: Provides real-time alerts when a leak is detected, helping to prevent water damage to equipment, infrastructure, or sensitive areas by enabling rapid response.
• Flexible Installation: Can be installed along pipelines, around sensitive equipment, or in areas prone to flooding. The connected WLC Water Leak Cable can be ordered in different lengths, allowing the sensor to monitor large or hard-to-reach areas.
• Integration with Monitoring Systems: It connects easily to any Vutlan monitoring unit, and the number of sensors can be expanded using the VT408 Sensor Extension Unit, making it suitable for large-scale installations.
