This 50s party dress has a lot of impact with a rockabilly vibe! The high waisted bodice combines elements of a strapless bandeau with a wide halter. There are two large faceted rhinestone buttons on the bandeau in the center and the halter bands are embellished with scattered prongset rhinestones. From the empire waist, the nine gore skirt skims the waist area before flaring into a full and swingy skirt. The dress is shown with a crinoline underneath for inspiration - it is not included with purchase. There are minor flaws and price reflects condition- please review Condition rReport and close-up photos.

FABRIC/COLORS: The color is a rich turquoise. Fabric is heavy faille with a small scale jacquard weave or embossing that is abstract enough to just look like a bit of shimmer. Fiber burn test suggests rayon or a cotton/rayon blend.
TAGS: No tags at all.
CLOSURES: A long metal zipper in back.
CONDITION: The underarms are discolored - see closeup. The embossed pattern is flatter there as well. A clever seamstress could remove the problematic sections of fabric, leaning into the halter look with bare underarms. The seams at the front waist are a bit stressed, although not enough to threaten the integrity of the garment. - see closeup. No other issues noted.
