Description:
This is a collection of piano trios by three composers who worked mainly in Vienna from the end of the 19th century to the modern era. Goltmark, who combines Hungarian folk music and Viennese style; Gall, a follower of Brahms who preserved his classical style; and Zemlinsky, who shows the most acute sense for tonal decay, a style that is familiar to Schoenberg; this is a beautiful collection of works with three different atmospheres. The violin is played by the virtuoso Ilmberger, and the piano is played by Sinaiski, who has performed with him many times. The cello is played by Attila Kiyoko Cernitori, who is of Italian father and Japanese mother. Known as "an artist who perfectly blends European and Asian cultures," she has recently been active as a conductor, and is passionate about performing in concert. Naxos Japan
