The British SA80 family of rifles (better known as the L85 and its derivatives) is perhaps the most distinctive weapon in all of NATO. Despite their uniqueness, they are gradually being replaced by variants of the AR-15 platform. However, this does not mark the end of the latest variant, the L85A3, which entered service in 2018. Recently, G&G Armament presented its own electric replica of the rifle. Alongside classic versions and more compact variants like the L22A2 (G&G Armament L85 AFV 2.0), the latest L85 variant in the form of the L85A3 has now been added to the G&G Armament lineup.

The L85 A3 is the latest model in the UK's L85 series of military rifles, featuring a distinctive bullpup design. As an upgraded version of the L85 A2, the L85 A3 strengthens the rifle's structure, enhancing its durability and reliability. It also improves shooting stability and operational performance, becoming one of the primary weapons of the British Army.

The G&G L85 A3 Bullpup AEG combines classic bullpup ergonomics with modern performance upgrades for both skirmish and competitive players. Tuned to 330–350 FPS with .20g BBs, this L85 A3 features a stamped CNC aluminum receiver and a lightweight aluminum M-LOK handguard that accepts rails and accessories without adding bulk. The monolithic Picatinny top rails provide a continuous mounting surface for optics and accessories, while the unique two-tone finish gives the platform a distinctive look on the field.
