Day 1: Sandakan / Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre / Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre / Bilit Rainforest Lodge / Kinabatangan River Cruise

• Pick-up from your hotel or Sandakan Airport and visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre for a briefing, a short documentary, and a chance to observe orangutans in their natural habitat. Walk the rainforest boardwalk to the feeding platform.
• Continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to learn about the world’s smallest bears with their unique chest markings.
• Travel two hours through countryside villages to Bilit Jetty and take a boat ride to Bilit Rainforest Lodge. Check in, enjoy lunch, and relax.
• In the evening, cruise along the Kinabatangan River to spot wildlife such as proboscis monkeys and pygmy elephants. After dinner, join an optional night safari cruise to discover nocturnal animals and crocodiles.

Day 2: Morning River Cruise / Kampung Walk / Afternoon River Cruise

• Enjoy light refreshments to start your morning, then take a scenic river cruise to Ox-Bow Lake. See the rainforest come to life as you float along the Kinabatangan River.
• Return to the lodge for a warm breakfast.
• Later, go on a 30-minute Kampung Walk to see the daily life in Kampung Bilit.
• Relax before having lunch at Bilit Restaurant.
• At 3:30 PM, enjoy a tea break before going on a 4:00 PM river cruise. Keep an eye out for Proboscis Monkeys, birds, and maybe the Bornean pygmy elephant.
• After the cruise, relax until dinner at 7:30 PM.
• Spend a restful night at Bilit Rainforest Lodge.

Day 3: Gomantong Cave / Sandakan City Hotel

• After breakfast, visit the Gomantong Caves, home to millions of bats and swiftlets. Learn about bird nest harvesting and explore the impressive limestone formations.
• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Sabah Hotel (or similar) in Sandakan for leisure time or optional add-on tours.

Day 4: Sandakan Airport or Hotel

• Breakfast will be served at the hotel. After breakfast, check out and transfer to your hotel or Sandakan Airport.
