Bring the hood to the fumes. Get a stronger capture.

Aim the semi-rigid capture arm directly at the source to prevent smoke and VOCs from spreading. Mounts on the top inlet of the Airpura 900‑series in minutes and stays where you set it. You can also use your own arm or a 5-inch flexible hose with a band clamp; the arm is optional, not required. Remove any hose/arm before opening the top for service.

Install steps (5–10 minutes)

1. Power the unit OFF and unplug before mounting accessories.
2. Seat the arm (or hose) on the top inlet and secure with a band clamp. 
3. Run the unit on MAX briefly to confirm draw, then set speed.
4. For filter service, remove the arm/hose, then unlatch the four top latches, lift off the top, and the foam gasket. Clean the compartment before re‑assembly.
   

Safety & performance tips

• Keep the hood as close to the fume source as practical to improve capture.
• Maintain ≤50% RH for best carbon performance. Do not use in flammable atmospheres.
• The 900‑series features variable speed and casters for easy positioning.

Do I have to buy your arm to use the 900/900 MAX?
No. You can use our semi‑rigid arm or your own arm. Many installers use a flexible 5‑inch hose with a clamp on the top inlet. Confirm inlet diameter before purchase.

How do I service filters with the arm installed?
Turn the unit OFF, unplug it, remove the arm/hose, and then unlatch the four top latches to access the filters from the top.

Does a longer hose reduce capture?
Yes—long runs and sharp bends increase loss. Keep hoses short and smooth where possible.
