It doesn't get more classic and polished than a matching mid-century skirt set. We were excited to discover this rare "Venus of California" combo! Both the skirt and the blouse are made from 100% rayon fabrication that has a soft, light weight, and draping nature. The skirt is gathered by a thick black waistband and flares out towards the hem, providing comfort and ease of movement. And the skirt is accompanied by it's original matching top which boasts a cropped silhouette, princess seam-lines, a corset like front closure, and a rib knit collar. The main fabrication is a warm, rich shade of yellow and the accents are jet black. Both the top and the skirt have their original labels which read, "Venus of California, 100% rayon , size medium". Dress is up with black stilettos for a special dinner or dress it down with doc martins for a Sunday brunch.

Condition:

Great condition for it's age with slight discoloration on one of the sleeves and a small spot on the skirt where it looks like someone has repaired a snag. The elastic on the waistband also looks like it was taken in by a tailor at some point but it still fits like a medium with the waistband sitting just below the waistline for a mid-rise fit.
