Drawn from the memory of a sojourn to Murshidabad in West Bengal. A temple trail, and a scene of a woman gathering flowers for her morning worship–an everyday early morning scene in quiet towns and even larger cities. Floral motifs in Indigo and White scattered on a naturally dyed green which was meant to be grey, and we have a result we like to think of as accidental beauty. Gathered waist dress with drop shoulders, cuffed full sleeves and button closure at the back.
