My girlfriend Shelley gave me the most gorgeous pair of vintage togs years ago, with an amazing patterned fabric which had completely stretched out of shape, but I wore them to death anyway as a playsuit with a belt. But for this summer I don't need to, because I just received my tiny shipment of this little beauty!

The quality of this piece really has blown my mind. The bodice is fully lined and the cotton poplin it is made from is nicely thick and sturdy, like vintage cotton clothing used to be, and the seams are finished with French seams, so no raw edges. It has beautiful mother-of pearl buttons down the front and the most perfect shirring elastic I have ever seen down the back to keep it all figure hugging. The legs are the perfect short shorts length, and the straps are wide enough to keep bra or togs straps hidden. Everything is just finished SO WELL, and this one is sure to be worn for summers and summers to come.

 

Made from good sturdy, but beautifully soft 100% cotton poplin and fully lined on the top half. There will be no stretching out of shape due to washing with this one.

Anna is an AU size 8 and is wearing an S. Both Anna and I sized up on this one, I am a AU 10/12 and I'm wearing an M in this.
