The silk underneath is cut on the bias and is seamed like a couture piece from the thirties. This gives it a beautiful drape so the fabric glides over the body and is extremely flattering! This is a stunning example of his work and even more beautiful in person. Excellent condition
Self backed fabric and closes with a side nylon & metal zipper. Note the color has a slightly deeper blue in person. There is very very slight scuffing to the fabric here and there - it is not apparent when on but you do see it when it is lying flat and spread out. Because it is bias cut it will drape to fit the body under it.
Bust: 15-17.5" flat across from side seam to side seam
Waist: 14-16" flat across from side seam to side seam
Hips: open due to the bias cut
Length: 60" from top of shoulder to longest point of front hem, 64" to longest point of the back
