Our 2 L size trees are approx. 80 to 100 cm tall with a distinct leader which you will need to tie to a stake to form the main trunk of the tree. There will be many side shoots that can be left and will eventually die off as the plant develops tree form, however they are best removed to increase the rate at which the tree develops a trunk. Please also note, these trees are not grafted onto dwarfing root stocks, so are not be suitable for small gardens. They are however tolerant of hard pruning which is best undertaken during winter to control growth.
