Jack Bryan manufactured well made evening dresses for the very best US department stores and his Los Angeles boutique from the 1960s to the mid-1980s. This pretty gown is tailored from cream tulle lace detailed with resplendent cream and translucent beads, iridescent sequins and pearls. The neckline is trimmed with pearls and beads which form a charming scallop shape. The dress closes at the back with a tonal zip and hook-and-eye, leaving a keyhole cut-out. The skirt element is tailored from cream chiffon; softly pleated, it falls to the ankle. There is a chiffon belt at the waist, attached through belt loops, that can be removed. Lined with cream satin from the bust down - the more translucent shoulders are lined in pale brown chiffon.
This dress is in excellent vintage condition with no issues of any note. It is labelled 100% Polyester and a vintage size US 8. As it has no stretch, the dress runs smaller by todays sizing and we think it better for sizes US 6 or UK 10 and below.
