As summer turns to autumn, the large animals begin to prepare for the long winter ahead. Each change of season brings new challenges and rewards, and all the animals of the forest have something to contribute.

The Season of the Bear expansion offers three advanced modes of play that can be added to the game. Animal Allies give each player a unique ability that they can use throughout the game. Seasonal events add additional scoring conditions to each Monarch. The Greater Animals affect the entire forest and give each player an effect they can use once per game.
