Leuchtrot Warm - Schwarz by Rupprecht Geiger is a signed limited edition screenprint from 1965, produced in a rare edition of just 24. The abstract print is characteristic of Geiger's lifelong investigation into colour as an autonomous force: a luminous red form set against black, the contrast generating an almost physical warmth and spatial presence that no reproduction fully captures. 

One of his earliest and most concentrated screenprints, the artwork dates from the period in which Geiger was consolidating his reputation as a central figure in European Colour Field abstraction.
