Having spent a few years on a farm, I've had some experience feeding chickens, and wish I could say they were as charming and well behaved as this bunch, and that I looked as well composed--and well dressed--as this woman throwing meal to them, sporting cheerful bows in her hair, on her shoes, and around her waist!

This and several others I am listing came from a portfolio of drawings by Pennsylvania folk/outsider artist Wayne B. Blouch of Lancaster, PA, purchased from the estate of art professor & art historian Jill McKeever Furst, who taught at Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, PA for over 10 years, which may be when she acquired them. There is not much out there about Blouch except a few sales of work at auction (Garth's; Pook & Pook), with those works dated c. 1880s. 

7 3/8" x 4 7/8", red and black ink and baby blue ink wash or watercolor on ledger paper and in very good condition. There is a semi-erased bird flying over her head, which I'm rather happy is at least partially still there!
