Spring loaded Clecos are like an extra set of hands

Quick and easy to use, Pro-werks spring-loaded 1/4 in. grip Cleco fasteners get inserted into a drilled hole to temporarily hold panels in place during fit up. These special Cleco pliers are required for installation.

How do Clecos work?

Pro-werks Cleco spring loaded fasteners are very easy to use; grab the special Cleco pliers simply insert the expanding end in to a pre-drilled pilot hole of the material to be held, and release to accurately position the panel - it's now held tight and on location.

When satisfactory final fit up is achieved, the drilled pilot hole may be either plug welded, riveted or drilled to the appropriate size for a mounting bolt, Dzus type button or Cam lock fastener. It is recommended to use a unibit drill cutter when enlarging the pilot hole in thin panel materials.
