I'm not sure if this car--and another by the same maker listed separately--was made as a model for a full scale soap box derby race car, or just as its own thing, but I sure love it. (And I personally am more than happy to see the driving left to a non-human--say a little wooden figure one might set on the seat--who can't get too hurt!) The front axle turns a full 360 degrees, and it rolls along great, so it would certainly make a wonderful toy for the kids, but as a pretty fabulous folk art piece I think I'd more likely display it out of reach!

11 3/4" long x 7 1/4" wide (at wheels); body of the car itself is 2 1/2" wide. Great condition. I might guess 1950s or so but am not entirely sure.
