Learn to crochet!

This entry-level class is designed for the beginner. Curious about crochet but you’re a total newbie? This is the workshop for you!

Learn the tools & techniques to begin crocheting:

• The hook - sizes, hand holds, parts
• The yarn - we will use a bulky yarn made of acrylic with some wool content
• The stitches - learn how to do slip knot, chain, and single crochet stitches 

With loads of experience and her contagious enthusiasm for craft, Rhonda will set you on your way to a new hobby! During this workshop, you will practice and repeat a few times to make sure the learning is cemented. Good progress should be made toward finishing your trivet.

All tools and materials will be provided. Everyone will take home their piece, hooks, and supplies.

About the instructor:

Rhonda Hamborsky has been an O.G. POST pal since we opened back in 2017. She may even be in first place for most workshops attended! Possessing a love for all things fiber, Rhonda learned how to crochet from her grandmother, who taught her using the mirror method. Because Rhonda is left-handed, she will be using that same method to teach. Rhonda always has several projects in process, including weaving, crocheting, embroidery and also recently began learning to knit too.
