BMW E30 Gr.A DTM bump steer adjustable tie rod kit for BMW E30 / E36 / E46 models including Z3 / Z4 and Compact (excluding E30 iX / E46 xi/xd models)

New, lighter, more compact, highly adjustable tie rod assembly now available!

• Tie rod assembly made per 90-92' DTM specification with added bump steer adjustment range for all applications

• Provides bump steer adjustment range from 10mm up to 35mm correction in every 5mm steps

• Super lightweight AW-7075 tie rod extension for maximum weight saving

• Replaceable 3-piece JMX-series Motorsport rod ends

• Two available width options:

  • E30 / E36 standard width

  • E46 standard width / +30mm for E30 / E36 applications

• Can be used with stock spindles / knuckles and also in addition of any MRT Engineering RACE or roll-center correction kits

• Bolt-on fitment on E30 / E36 steering racks, on E46 steering racks we recommend grinding a 6mm wide, 3mm deep alignment slot for the forkhead pin 

• Minimum recommended wheel size 15" with E30 spindles / knuckles, 16" with E36 or E46 spindles / knuckles

• Steering rack stops recommended (Not suitable for drifting applications)

• Comes with all necessary mounting hardware and MRT Engineering decals

Why do you need one?

When lowering and/or changing caster and/or camber settings of your car bump steer geometry might change. With these tie rods you will gain sharp and precise steering feel with wide range of bump steer adjustability. Extensive use of AW-7075 aluminum allows very lightweight construction compared to all steel OE style tie rods.

No special tools needed, all parts will directly bolt-on with eligible hardware mentioned in the item description. Front end re-alignment required.

How about the lifetime and service of the kit?

The kits have been proven on street and track applications by hundreds of our customers. We're constantly doing R&D to make the kits even better, all improvements are based on customer feedback which is very important to us.
We have proven the very same bearings with no maintenance for 20,000 kilometers, through the year, in daily use without signs of excessive wear. When the bearing life comes to an end, they're easily replaceable! Bearings are available around the world from automotive and industrial dealers and any of the spare parts can be also bought separately from us.

We want to keep our customers 100% happy thus we're only using the best materials and manufacturing processes available. All parts are CNC machined: aluminum parts are aerospace grade AW-7075 with hard anodized black finish, mounting studs are made of highest quality CrMo tool steel and small spacers/adapters used on the kits are 316L stainless steel.
