Old-vine Marsanne and Roussanne planted in limestone and granite soils
Aged in French oak barrels, including a portion of new oak, with extended lees contact
Bottled unfined to preserve depth and natural structure
Now entering its ideal drinking window, with potential for further cellaring
Aromas: Dried apricot, roasted almond, beeswax, acacia, honeycomb, and flint
Palate: Creamy and textured with evolving notes of baked apple, toasted brioche, and saline minerality
Finish: Long and complex, with hints of citrus oil, spice, and oxidative finesse
Serve at 12–13 °C:
Ideal with lobster in butter sauce, foie gras, roasted poultry with truffle, or aged hard cheeses
Also excellent with earthy vegetarian dishes like creamy polenta or mushroom gratin
Decant gently before serving to fully awaken the bouquet
The 2017 Hermitage Blanc is a rare opportunity to experience a mature white Rhône at its peak. Crafted with patience and precision by Laurent Tardieu, it offers exceptional complexity, elegance, and a luxurious mouthfeel—perfect for collectors, connoisseurs, and fine dining occasions.
