The Dial is white enamel with blued steel hands and is signed Thos. Russell & on, Liverpool, Swiss Made and is decorated with the Tempus Fugit trade mark.  The double sunk dial is in mint condition, and protected by a mineral glass.  

The well running and fine  movement is nickel 3/4 plate and has a lever escapement and is signed Thos Russell & Son. Liverpool Swiss made, 10 Jewel and is engraved beautifully with the attractive  Russell logo - Tempus Fugit showing a wheel in the sky with wings.  The watch is stem wind and stem set.  Diameter is 49 mm.  

The beautiful 9K Gold case is a full hunter case by Dennison and has a hinged inner back and front cover.  The front cover pops open crisply to 90 degrees when you press the crown.  The gold case has a smooth plain  finish.  There is a tiny bruise on the edge but overall a super and lovely case.  

The watch comes  in a period leather box lined with silk and velvet box.
