Just in time for Easter, and I think as nice a way to deliver the chocolate eggs and bunny as in a basket! This Jack Rabbit Navy Beans bag is emblematic of the rise in popularity of cotton bags from the early to mid 20th century of cotton bags as families suffered economic hardship-- the cotton could be recycled or repurposed for the other uses. As such, companies began to print the bags with patterns for making dolls and the like--here a needlework pattern on reverse "to occupy little fingers." Great graphics, and stamped 25 cents twice!
13" x 7 1/2" and in good shape, no holes and completely usable as a sac. C. 1930s-40s I believe.
