Why choose thelockerguy wholesale?
Classic late 19th/early 20th-century chemist’s jar with its original enamelled blue label reading “PULV: GLYCYR: CO.” (compound liquorice powder) and the correct ground-glass stopper. Clear cylindrical body with a domed shoulder and wide foot sits beautifully on a shelf; the label’s gilt border gives it that cabinet-of-curiosities glow. A lovely decorative for bathroom, kitchen herbs, or a library display.
Condition is good, clean and display-ready with honest age. The stopper seats well; there’s a small chip to the finial tip of the stopper and light rubbing and tiny losses to the label’s gilt edge, plus the usual faint scuffs from handling—exactly what you want on a working apothecary piece.
Size reads directly off the tape at just over 18.5 cm high to the top of the stopper; body diameter approx. 7.5–8 cm.
