About the artist: Lalia Caroline Dickson was a Scottish artist and designer who trained at Edinburgh College of Art in the early 1930s. She exhibited with the Society of Scottish Women Artists and worked across illustration and decorative arts, including glass/stained-glass design. Her work appears at auction and in dealer catalogues, with recorded sales of painted and illustrative pieces.
