A characterful small antique copper bowl with a beautifully hand-hammered geometric band and traces of its original tinned finish. Middle Eastern, likely Egypt and early–mid 20th century, it has that perfect old-world look – warm copper highlights catching the light against areas of darkened patina. The interior shows heavy age and oxidisation, giving it a wonderfully timeworn, wabi-sabi feel that works beautifully styled on a shelf, altar or kitchen dresser.

The bowl stands approximately 11 cm (about 4.3") high and 17 cm (about 6.7") across the rim. Condition is well-loved and rustic with surface marks, small knocks, wear to the tinning and an encrusted interior from long use – exactly the kind of honest patina collectors look for. Best used as a decorative piece rather than for food, unless professionally cleaned and re-lined. A lovely accent for boho, rustic farmhouse, global eclectic or maximalist interiors.
