SETH THOMAS Hunting Cased Man's Pocket watch in size 18 which has been serviced and running well. This is a fine 14K yellow gold filled grade 171, 15 jewel movement with lever set and pendant wind. The movement is adjusted to temperature as well as to 3 positions and is sparkling with lovely designs and two colours. The hands are blue Morning Glory style with Roman numbers and Black and red outer dial. The case has lovely deep engraving with no initialing. Diameter of watch is 55 mm. without crown. Ashton-Blakey has provided watches and chains to the Vintagers Club of America.
Seth Thomas was a famous clock manufacturing company and then branched out in 1884 to manufacture a line of jewelled pocket watches.
