ROTI^®Cell NeuroA Basal Medium is specifically formulated to ensure optimized cultivation of postnatal and adult neurons as well as neural tumor cell lines, without the need for an astrocyte feeder layer.

The medium is free of neurotransmitters such as glutamate and aspartate. It is suitable for the cultivation of a variety of primary cultures and neuronal cell lines.The ready-to-use medium is obtained by adding the chemically defined supplements ROTI^®Cell N-2 Supplement (Order No. 3H87.1) or ROTI^®Cell NS21 Supplement (Order No. 3H88.1).
