The black Point Source Audio Series8 CO-8WLh Omnidirectional High-Sensitivity Waterproof Lavalier Microphone Kit with Accessories (Sennheiser SK and Zaxcom) is a miniature mic designed to deliver a natural vocal sound for recording and broadcast applications including presentations, interviews, public speaking, and more. Featuring an unobtrusive mic element with only 4mm in diameter, it offers a discreet visual appearance and can easily fit behind a button of the presenter's clothing. This version of the lav is equipped with a more sensitive mic capsule, which requires less gain and is optimized for broadcast applications. The Series8 CO-8WLh's omnidirectional polar pattern allows for a variety of mic placement options as it picks up the voice from all directions equally and doesn't need to be lined up with the mouth. The mic offers an IP57 rating, which protects it against water, sweat, and makeup, commonly harmful to microphones.

This kit configuration of the microphone includes a wide variety of useful mounting and wind-reduction accessories, some in multiple colors, along with two interchangeable X-Connectors: one with a 3.5mm TRRS connector for mobile devices, and a second with a 3-pin LEMO connector for Sennheiser SK and Zaxcom wireless systems.
