PX HHD since March 2021

Finished in a PX cask since March 2021, we are sure that this will be a favourite of many. The nose of this dram is complex, with sweet notes of candied apricots as well as more aniseed notes of liquorice and iodine. On the palate, notes of plum jam and pastel de nata were recorded. This then transitions into a layered finish of leather, cola cubes and cassis.

Glen Grant-Glenlivet Information

Glen Grant-Glenlivet is situated in Rothes and has a storied and celebrated history. It was making a name for itself as a valued brand back when it was not common to do so and built up a huge international following. It's still popular in the wider world to this day, in particular Italy.

These days the spirit is light and often has apple notes. Historically, the spirit has been heavier but the distillery switched from predominantly sherry casks to bourbon as part of a pursuit of a more delicate dram.
