OAK-1 Lite is the stripped-down version of OAK-1. Sold at a more affordable price, the only difference between these two models is their colour camera sensor: OAK-1 Lite uses IMX214, while OAK-1 uses IMX378, which is a higher quality colour camera. Apart from that, OAK-1 Lite offers the same features:

• 4 TOPS of processing power (1.4 TOPS for AI)
• Real-time image processing, directly on the device
• Numerous DepthAI features
• A high-performance SoC
• An interface integrated directly into Robotics Vision Core 2 (RVC2)

Choosing the right focus

The OAK-1 Lite camera is available in two variants:

• Auto-focus: recommended for close objects between 10 cm to 50 cm of the device. They can also be manually set to a specific focus position utilizing the DepthAI API.
• Fixed-focus: recommended for heavy-vibration applications, such as drones, lawnmowers, or vehicles.
