• St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) - St. John's Wort blooms close to the summer solstice in Maine, when the sun is closest and warmest, and the days are long. The bright flowers are full of this sun; even the leaves have little holes in them, suggesting a letting in of light. Balancing and uplifting, with liver support for extra flow and release.
• Lavender (Lavandula spp.) - A comforting and potent aromatic herb, paired with a touch of bitter grounding. The essential oils of Lavender calm the senses, relax the belly, and support lung health. Cooling and soothing, diffusive, and cleaning to the mind. Lavender uplifts and relaxes.
• Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) - A common mint family plant that is truly lemon-scented and generous in spirit. Lemon Balm soothes, cools, and brightens with an affinity for the digestive tract, nervous system, and emotional heart.
• Milky Oats (Avena sativa) - The same plant you find in your breakfast bowl, but harvested while the seed is green and full of mineral-rich "milk".
