Khadi is a hand spun and handwoven organic cotton, woven for Kardo by Udyog Bharti. These garments were then hand embroidered by Md Ashraf, a skilled embroiderer from Bengal, using a chain stitch technique called Ari. Each panel is individually embroidered on a frame before the garment is stitched.

The garment may exhibit patchy dyeing and marks as a result of the natural dyeing process. The print may naturally fade due to exposure to sunlight and washing. Dry crocking (the transfer of dye onto other fabrics and surfaces when dry) may also occur. Refrain from pairing this clothing item with light colours until any remaining colour has been eliminated, as there might be some colour transfer.
