A lovely piece of English pottery by Beswick. This large creamware jug (Shape No. 348) features a distinctive Art Deco ribbed design and a soft matte glaze.

The silhouette is reminiscent of classic Italian wine pitchers, with a generously pinched spout and an elegant loop handle. Its neutral tone and rhythmic texture make it a striking vessel for long-stemmed dried florals, branches, or simply as a standalone architectural piece on a sideboard.

Condition: Good vintage condition with authentic signs of age. There is visible crazing and age-related discolouration that gives the piece a warm, time-worn patina. Please note: There is a chip present on the base. The piece remains watertight and displays beautifully despite these imperfections, which we feel add to its history.
