This Apex 20005-2026 Ford Super Duty Axle Side Track Bar Ball Joint is a direct and heavy duty replacement for the factory ball joint. Ford designed this joint to be part of the factory front axle housing rather than the track bar, so replacing it with a track bar service is key to preventing death wobble or wandering steering. 

This Apex joint features a larger than stock wear surface, better serviceability and an overall stronger design. 

This axle-side ball joint replaces the factory ball joint on the OE front track bar, solving the known poor performance issue with premature wear in the factory part.
