Nuestra San Luis Del Rio is created out of pure Espadin Agave. The agave is roasted in a pit oven using oak and mesquite, double-distilled in copper stills and fermented in an open-air wooded vat.
Espadin is actually grown on extremely steep slopes. The harvested pinas are rolled down before going to the palanque. Because of the intense heat in San Luis Del Rio, the agave often ripens early and has an extremely concentrated sugar level.
This provides an aroma resembling bright citrus fruits and spicy peppers with a full palate that will leave you coming back for more time and time again.
